As leader of HNI, Mike still finds time to do what he enjoys most, creating new clients and bringing added value to existing clients. "Staying close to our customers' businesses helps me better understand the challenges they are facing and so we can innovate ways to bring new value to their organization." Mike is a quick start. That means he's never heard an idea he didn't like (of course it's usually Mike throwing the first idea out there). "Being a quick start means you need to have a great team around you to get things done. Fortunately, I am surrounded by just that."
Mike also acts as HNI's Brand Manager. "My passion is around marketing and branding. Creating a powerful brand isn't about creating a catchy slogan - it's the culture and the gut feeling people have about your product or service. Whether I'm working on HNI's brand or a client's it all comes down to what makes you different."
The thing Mike is especially proud about is the INSIGHT that HNI brings to its clients. "Early on in my career I knew we were making a difference when our clients asked, what's new, different, and better at HNI? The insight our team brings to our clients is a big differentiator."
